Florence - Istituto e museo di storia della scienza

Opened in 1930, the museum is housed in the Castellani palace and is home to collections of scientific instruments dating from the 15th up to the 19th century.
On show are a wide range of astrological instruments (including the original ones of Galileo), compasses, timepieces, weighing tools and all sorts of medicinal and chemical apparatus.
