Many of our guests are grateful for the peace and privacy of the hotel and grounds, and will spend their vacation by the poolside, playing tennis, or exploring the gardens and olive groves. The hotel offers various activities tied in with the production of its excellent, golden-green olive oil. The process starts with the harvest of the olives in November and carries on through to the final pressings in January — related activities include cookery lessons and tastings.
If you want to see more of the area you have several options: Bicycles and mountain bikes are available for hire, the hotel can arrange guided tours of the city and the countryside of Tuscany, or if you are feeling particularly adventurous you can see the area by helicopter.
Florence is easily accessible and is a must see - a cradle of the Renaissance with an unrivalled concentration of arts, architecture and historical sights; combined with excellent restaurants, top-class shopping and a lively cultural calendar. The rolling hills of Chianti stretch from Florence down towards Siena, an area that boasts some of Italy's most prestigious wineries, many of which offer guided tours and tastings.
The hotel is an outstanding conference venue and is suitable for groups of 20 to 150. There is plenty of space for events, with 2000m² outside and an inside area of 250m² set aside for exhibitions. There is a gangway for fashion shows and the facilities for concerts and chamber music.
