The restaurant at Hotel Belvedere has earned a reputation for fine traditional
dishes in an elegant, refined setting. Large enough to seat 250, it is
ideal for business meetings, family celebrations or reunions. The large
balcony offers a spectacular panoramic view and is ideal for al fresco
meals during the summer months.
The proprietors are fiercely proud of local ingredients and the menu reflects
this. A classic meal will start with antipasti (cured hams, salamis and
local delicacies) followed perhaps by Zuppa di Farro (a soup made
with a local wheat), Tagliolini (noodles) or Ravioli con Funghi
Porcini (the forests yield outstanding wild mushrooms). A meat course
may consist of an oven roasted leg of beef or chargrilled lamb followed
by a range of desserts - tarts with forest fruits or cakes made from Farro
are a speciality.
