The Hotel Ilaria is a new four star hotel within the walls of Lucca.
The mediaeval gate of S. Gervasio, the centuries-old park and the 16th century Villa Buonvisi (now Villa Bottini) form the surroundings of the Hotel Ilaria. Situated in the old converted stables of the villa, and within the city's 16th century walls, the hotel takes its name from Ilaria del Carretto, the second wife of Paolo Guinigi, governor of Lucca from 1400 to 1430.
Completely renovated in the year 2000, the hotel has 30 ensuite bedrooms offering every comfort, independently adjustable air conditioning and geating, colour satellite television, telephone with outside line, mini-bar, safe and hairdryer.
Hotel Ilaria has two spacious furnished sun terraces looking into the park, and a self-service dining room with a wide choice of hot and cold buffets. There is a conference room with seating for 20 people, and fax and email service are available on request. There is private parking and a garage, lifts to all floors, pets are welcome and there is free use of bicycles. Click here for a map showing our position in Lucca.
