Villa Romantica is adjacent to the city walls and a few minutes walk from the centre of Lucca. A shuttle bus runs from just outside the hotel into the centre four times an hour.

The Villa, a late-nineteenth century 'liberty' building in a lovely garden with trees, has been tastefully restored to reflect an English/French atmosphere. There is a swimming pool, solarium and free private parking in the grounds. Bicycles are available for hire and two tennis courts (just next to the hotel) can also be reserved for hire — bookings can be made at reception.
