Lying on the coast amongst vineyards and olive groves, this country house will take you back in time. This bed and breakfast, near Pescara and Chieti, Abruzzi, maintains its original structure and features while giving you all modern comforts.

From the windows of this accommodation in Abruzzo, Italy (sleeping 14), you can admire a breathtaking view overlooking the valley of the sea to the east and, to the west, the Maiella and Gran Sasso mountains (the highest in the Appenines).

You can be on the beach from your accommodation in Abruzzo, Italy within five minutes, and in the mountains within 20. You can enjoy your breakfast served on the terrace surrounded by fig trees, savouring the healthy, dry country air and bird song. You have a choice of freshly picked fruits of the season, freshly baked warm bread with butter and jam ... and many other choices sweet and savoury.

There are two double bedrooms, two triple bedroomsn and a larger double bedroom plus two single bed. All of these accommodations have been restored in original rural style. Each has its own television, each its own entrance from the balcony, en-suite toilet and shower room.

Prices range from EURO €35 to €40 a night, depending on the season. Bookings of two weeks or more attract a 10 per cent discount.

The brick vaulted ground floor and the old stable still with manger intact have been converted for use as the restaurant which should be open from the summer. Have dinner by firelight in the winter and in the summer enjoy a lazy meal outside under the pergola. The swimming pool is under construction and will be ready for the summer season.

Each room has a phone and there is a refrigerator available for communal use. Every room has a hairdryer. On arrival in your room you’ll find a complimentary litre bottle of local wine. During July and August, it is preffered to rent weekly, running Saturday to Saturday.
