Castello Chiola is a wonderful four-star hotel housed in a historic castle in the ancient town of Loreto Aprutino. The setting is stupendous and each of the 36 luxurious rooms has gorgeous views over stunning countryside fringed by the Adriatic sea on one side and the Gran Sasso mountain on the other. All rooms are air-conditioned and have en-suite facilities, satellite TV, internet point and direct-dial phone line. The hotel has two excellent restaurants and a relaxed, American style lounge/bar.
