Hotel Residence Ariaperta is near Catanzaro, on southern Italy's eastern (Ionian) coast. This is the Gulf of Squillace, in Calabria, renowned as one of the prettiest stretches of coastline in all Italy. With white sands, clear-azure waters and blazing sunshine, this idyllic bay makes it impossible not to slow down and relax. The wellness centre is situated a few kilometres from the main body of the hotel, which features a mix of double rooms (with some specially set up for guests with disabilities) and apartments. Sleeping up to six, these are a great option for family groups. Shopping, bars, restaurants and nightlife are well catered for in the regional centre of Catanzaro, and there are many lovely little towns along the coast.
