A vacation villa on the Amalfi Coast, Italy, this splendid house, sleeping up to six, is on the pinnacle of a high rocky cliff, facing the sea. The view from the garden and the terrace of the vast living room is spectacular ... it seems as though one could stretch out one's hand and touch the Amalfi coastline and the islands. You can even see the sea from the bed in one of the double bedrooms.
The second bedroom has two single beds and a window with a view of the rocks.
The kitchen is large, built with locally-crafted majolica and well equipped with a cooker, an oven, a microwave oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
There is another dining area linked to the kitchen and from there you can enter into the garden through a French window. This dining area has a nice fireplace and a large dining table.
The owner has lovingly furnished the house for his family with antiques and valuable locally crafted furniture. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you will feel like welcome guests in a real Italian home. There is air conditioning, central heating and satellite television.
The house is 5km away from Meta di Sorrento and the beach, 7km from Sorrento and 9km from Positano. The nearest village centre with shops and restaurants is 800 metres away. The bus stop is 800 metres from the house, and the bus will often come closer to the villa (80 metres: this stop is not guaranteed).
[ View on Google Map | map of Campania ]It is easy to reach interesting tourist attractions such as The Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts, and, of course, Capri, Pompeii, Naples, Paestum and Caserta with its famous palace. Ferries and hovercraft can be caught from Sorrento.
