The aptly named Hotel Holiday is situated between Amalfi and Positano in the village of Praiano. This village is wrapped around the cliffs, and steeply winding roads and alleys lead you past the brightly painted villas and houses. Many of the buildings are cut into the rock and are reached by flights of steps which stretch from the sea to the top of the cliffs.
View a map of locationThe village was the retreat of the Amalfi nobles and many of the villas here belonged to the Amalfi nobility. The village prospered on two industries - silk and coral. The fisherman's wives would produce fine silk garments and also jewellery from coral. One sight that must not be missed in Praiano is the church of San Luca Evangelista, which also holds the saints remains.

The hotel is lavishly furnished, each room has its own unique character and charm and is sure to meet your expectations. The delicious local cuisine (using seasonal local produce) is served in the delightful restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
