Gavillaccio is located in a panoramic area bordering Chianti, and is at the centre of the triangle formed by the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The original structures — a castle and small village — were mentioned by Dante and were razed during a feud with Florence. Carefully restored and renovated, Il Gavillaccio now offers vacation accommodation in beautiful holiday apartments.

The setting is breathtaking, with marvellous views over the wooded hills from the large swimming pool and terrace. Living rooms are ample and have double sofa beds.

The apartments vary in size (sleeping from 2 to 6) with weekly prices for the smallest ranging from €520 (low season) to €750 (peak season) and for the largest from €570 to €795 peak.
