The San Fabiano farm estate is a large-sized paradise; more than 600 hectares of rolling hills and untouched countryside, with oak woods, crown-pines, lakes and vineyards. Here deer, horses, foxes, pheasants, hares, porcupines and many species of birds live and breed in a natural protected environment.
The heart of the farm is a mediaeval tower-castle with an eleventh century chapel. On the surrounding grounds many farmhouses, perfectly restored and fully furnished, offer the true, original Tuscany - landscape and air.
During your stay at San Fabiano you can simply relax or participate in organised activities such as Tuscan cooking lessons. Children would love to knead pasta, otherwise babysitting can be arranged on request. You wouldn't want to miss trekking in the hills, biking tours or sports such as tennis, golf, badminton, swimming and riding. Or enjoy your trips to Tuscan villages and museums. San Fabiano is well suited for children thanks to the gated patio and garden with toys and ping pong, and a swimming pool. It's great fun to go to the lake to see pheasants, white-tailed deer and wild ducks, go to the Arbia River to fish, or visit the village park with swans.
San Fabiano is located just 12 kilometres south east of Siena, close by the S2 road in the area of Monteroni d'Arbia. Florence is just 60K away, the fortified village of Monteriggioni 26K, the hot springs at Bagni San Filippo 30K and the famous 'Locanda Amorosa', with gorgeous meals, just 18K away.
