For lovers of nature, the area around the castle offers many paths for outings by foot, mountain bike or on horseback, following tracks of bygone days. This is how you will discover breathtaking landscapes like those of the famous "Crete" of Siena, Chianti and all that the name conjures up, or one of the many thermal springs of the area. It is possible to organise guided tours around the castle.

CastelBigozzi is the ideal place for anyone wishing to see Tuscany's artistic and historical beauties. Just a few metres away is the much-photographed hilltop village and fort of Monteriggioni, a few kilometres distant are San Gimignano and its towers, the ancient alleys of Colle Val d'Elsa or the charms of Siena.

You can also visit Florence with its museums and architectural masterpieces, or simply wander through the countryside to discover the eternal charm of abbeys secluded in the olive groves.
