Il Palazzetto is an excellent example of Tuscan design, built in traditional Alberese stone with understated, elegant architectural features. The villa was occupied by the owners before they moved to the family palazzo in Florence and lives up to the standard of an elegant private mansion. Family antiques, books, terracotta flooring and Mediterranean colourings create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
The main entrance to the house a large wooden double door with a Renaissance stone cornice leads into the courtyard and beyond onto a large terrace with a pergola for meals outside. From the terrace a few steps lead to the wonderful back garden, the private pool and the open countryside. From here you can enjoy stunning views of the famous Chianti hills with vineyards, olive groves and a small church. |
