Not far from the house is a small pool with wooden deck for sunbathing.

Tafania was originally built in traditional Tuscan style, with stables and storerooms on the ground floor and living quarters upstairs. A paved terrace at the back of the house faces west with stunning sunsets! An olive-scattered lawn softly blends into the landscape.

The house is equipped with telephone, washing-machine, dishwasher, TV, stereo and central heating. Maid service is included for 3 hours twice a week.

Extra maid service, a cook, and a cot are all available as extras on request.

The ground floor is composed of the breakfast room, a large playroom and a loggia (verandah), as well as a suite made up of a living room and a twin bedroom (with en suite bath and a door onto the loggia.) In summer you can breakfast here in the shade of the poplar trees which flank the terrace.

The first floor is composed of a living room with open fireplace, a dining room, the kitchen (fully equipped) with open fireplace, a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. The large living room and the country kitchen with fireplace are perfect for gatherings with family and friends.

The next level — a typical Tuscan piccionaia (dove tower) — contains a twin bedroom.
