Wine and olive oil
The making of wine and olive oil are Colle Verde's main activities: the quality
of the products has led them to be recognised as some of the finest in Italy.
The estate is listed in several leading international gourmet directories
and travel guides.
All products may be purchased in the Cantina, open from
9am to 6pm daily.
Guests are always welcome to stop by wine cellar for a complimentary
glass of wine.
On request your hosts organise olive oil and wine tastings,
which include a tour of the oil press and winery and a description of all
production procedures.
Other facilities
There are two unattended swimming pools on the property, open all day from
the beginning of May until the end of September. There is a mobile/cell
phone available for you to use at any time of day or night. Please see Piero

you would like to send or receive faxes or sign on to the internet to read
or send email. A coin-operated washing machine is at your disposal during
your stay, with a clothes line and pegs provided.
The 25-hectare Colle Verde estate includes vineyards and olive groves as well as uncultivated areas that are open for you to explore during your stay. Upon arrival you will receive a detailed map displaying the various footpaths in the surrounding area.
Shopping and restaurants
Off-site, there is a shopping mall with an Esselunga supermarket, a bank,
a dry cleaners, a coffee bar and several other shops; it's located 3km from
the farm and is open weekdays 8am to 8pm (Closed all day Sunday & Monday morning).
There are at least five restaurants within 5km of the estate whose cuisine can be recommended: ranging from the simple but savoury dishes prepared at ‘Le Colonne’ to the refined one-star Michelin cuisine of the elegant ‘Ristorante La Mora’. If you would like to have lunch or dinner in Lucca (the town is only a 15-minute drive from Colle Verde), your hosts strongly recommend ‘La Buca di S. Antonio’ and ‘L’Antica Locanda dell’Angelo’: both restaurants have been in operation since the Middle Ages and serve delicious interpretations of traditional Tuscan cuisine.
