The apartment covers 50 square metres of the ground floor of a country villa. The living/dining room has a double sofa bed and TV. The small double bedroom has a shower. The kitchen has an oven and there is a washing machine, whose use you share.

Outside lie a 100 square metre patio, a terrace with furniture, and parking for guests. The house is in a quiet, sunny position, within a (shared) 800 square metre garden. Nightly rental for two people is €50, and €80 for four. A week for two is €340 and for four people €550.
A grocery shops lies 500 metres away, and a restaurant 1km. The bus stop is 10 metres away and the railway station at Arce, 5km away. There is an indoor swimming pool and tennis 2km away, and riding stables 3km away. And at 5km is a big sports centre, with horse riding, pool and restaurant.
The centre of Arce and the lovely church of Saints Peter and Paul is 7km away. After a 2km climb, you see the beautiful valley of Arce spread out beneath you. Nearby you can see The Abbeys of di Casamari, Montecassino and Trisulti. There are the hills around the town of Fontana Liri (birthplace of Marcello Mastroianni), the Pastena grottos, Balsorano Castle, and the National Park at Abruzzo. At Arce you'll also discover the archaeological site at Fregellae, along with its museum. You can walk and relax in the woods and the countryside.

This whole area of southern Lazio is where the Italian south proper begins, and is less lush and more mountainous than northern Lazio. There is some of the region's loveliest scenery here, with broad tree-clad hills and little towns sheltering within the valleys. The area has good seaside resorts - check out Terracina and Sperlonga - and it has the Pontine Islands. Lying a couple of hours out into the Mediterranean, these are undiscovered gems.
