Vale & Vale is marvellously situated for exploring the city, with most of the major sights within walking distance. In 10 minutes, you can reach Saint Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Just beyond, you meet the majesty of Castel San Angelo and the lovely Angelo bridge. Hit the Piazza Navona area, cross through Via del Governo Vecchio, and you will be stunned by the myriad antique shops and stores.
Beyond Piazza Navona, you will find the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna and the stunning Via dei Condotti. And on the other side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, you will find Piazza Campo de'Fiori, the Jewish Ghetto, the Capitol and the archaeological wonder of the Forum, finishing at the Colosseum. If you are tired after such a visual feast, travel back on the Metro: the Ottaviano San Pietro station is just 400 metres from the B&B.

Nightly rates, for a double room (single occupancy) range from €46 to €62, depending on the season. Double rooms range from €72 to €93. An extra bed can be put in for €20 a night. All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, TVs and mini-bars. The rates include breakfast, daily cleaning, linen and towels. Children below five stay free of charge. They also provide a shuttle service to and from the airports of Rome. At a small extra cost, you will be picked up from and/or dropped off at the airport.
