On a peak between the Aso and Tenna Valleys, sitting 750 metres above sea level, the Agriturismo Marulla has a magnificent position overlooking the Monti Sibillini mountains, providing that marvellous view down to the Adriatic Sea.

And the CEA (Centro Educazione Ambientale) organises excursions to discover fossil remains in nearby archeological digs. The partially restored restaurant, with its tiled floors and wooden ceiling, is the heart of the place. In a traditional and cosy atmosphere, guests can enjoy traditional Marche dishes. Home-made macaroni, vegetables from the farm's fields and meat from local herds make meals at Marulla very special. And the best Marche wines are complemented by top-quality vintages from local vineyards. There is also a conference-room and a lovely swimming pool (12 x 5.50 metres), lit throughout the night.

The farmhouse has five eight-bed Italian holiday apartments: one of these is designed for disabled guests. Every vacation apartment is completely independent, with central-heating and TV; divided over two levels, with a big kitchen on the ground floor, a bedroom and bathroom on the top floor.

The apartments in front of the barn have, on the upper floor, a little living room and an additional bedroom, situated on the gable-mansard, from which you can admire the extraordinary beauty of the Monti Sibillini.

The swimming pool is surrounded with sunshades and tables for guests, and has panoramic views over the countryside. All around lie green fields and woods, terrific for guided nature walks; the farm provides mountain bikes; and there are tennis courts in the village, near the house.
