If you love nature you can explore the fields about, tasting fruit, watching the farm animals, make jam, preparing bottled vegetables, and taking part in the wine making process in the nearby winery. A great way to see the local scenery is by foot or mountain bike along the Aso River and in the owners' own woods.
Fifteen minutes takes you to the beach resorts on the Adriatic Sea. In the other direction, you can be in the Sibillini Mountains Park, with its breathtaking landscape, fossils, gorges, and crystalline springs.
And if you love art, then just 30km away are the towns of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo, or join one of the guided tours of mediaeval villages hereabouts. In Montalto delle Marche you can visit the fortified Mill of Pope Sisto V (14th century), the cathedral and the crypt, the civic art gallery, the historical library, the Diocesan museum, and the municipal archives. Just 5km away you will find the archaeological remains at Monterinaldo (2nd century BC), while 8km away lie the Castle of Rocca Montevarmine and many churches from the Middle Ages.
