Monterubbiano is a small mediaeval town perched on a hill 465 metres above sea level, giving panoramic views. It lies in a region rich in art, culture and tradition, and offering tourists ocean and mountains, excursions on horseback, visits to mediaeval villages, monasteries, museums - or simply the beauty and harmony of the landscape.

On a mild summer night there are a multitude of wonderful piazzas, theatres and historic sites to explore in both this (2450 inhabitants) and neighbouring villages.

Nearby there is cycling, fishing, horse riding, mountain biking, swimming, tennis, and walking on offer
The nearest airports are at Rimini, Falconara, and Pescara (each about 80km away); the nearest train station is 15km away at Porto San Giorgio and the nearest motorway exit 15km. We do advise you to bring a car.
