This Liguria Bed and Breakfast is close to Chiavari and the coast of Italy. B&B Gli Ulivi (‘The Olives’) is located in Leivi in the charming hills near the Gulf of Tigullio.
The accommodation is surrounded by olive trees (hence its name) and lies less than 5km from the seaside town of Chiavari; it can be easily reached by bus (bus stop Palestra Comunale). The B&B in situated in a comfortable villa over two floors. There are three double rooms, each one with private bathroom and independent entrance. An extra bed can be installed. The rooms look onto the garden and are non-smoking. One of this room, the "suite" has a marvellous views over the sea.

The area around Leivi offers lots of ways to enjoy the outdoors, including tennis courts, horse riding, trekking and mountain biking. Fax and internet connections are available; the owners speak English and German. This is a lovely base for a family holiday – the children can play while the adults take the sun and enjoy the splendid vista of the Ligurian Sea. There is plenty to see nearby. As well as Leivi and Chiavari, you are within easy reach of Portofino and the spectacular Cinque Terre – the traditional villages shoehorned into the cliffs, overlooking the blue waters of the sea.

One of the rooms has a view over the valley (€60 - €65 per couple) and the other overlooks the garden (€55 - €60). The price for "suite" depends on the lenght of stay. This B&B close to Chiavari makes a great base for exploring this lovely stretch of the Italian coast.
