A marvellous choice for holidays in Italy, CostaSecca is bed and breakfast accommodation half way between Genoa and Cinque Terre.
CostaSecca is in a lovely area at the foot of Leivi hill, just at the back of the town of Chiavari along the east coast of Genova close to Portofino. Surrounded by a flowering garden and immersed in typical Mediterranean greenery sits an orange-pink house, with its green windows and door — just as a child would draw and paint it — and with the smiling sun looking down on the roof.
[ View on Google Map | map of region ]The house has two bedrooms, sleeping 6/7 guests. There is a bathroom with toilet/shower; front and back garden; telephone, fax and internet; English and French are spoken. There is a local bus handy for town, and your hosts can provide detailed information on hill walking/trekking/bike itineraries and horse riding. Local cuisine is available, including olive oil, home made jams, cheese and more ... everything to make the most of your holidays in Italy.
Prices at this bed and breakfast accommodation half way between Genoa and Cinque Terre are EURO €35 per person per night, breakfast included. Children up to three years are free of charge; children up to 10 years have a 30% discount. There is a 10% discount for stays of seven nights or more.
You’ll find the house easy to reach, flying into Genoa or Milan airport. Leivi is not a typical fisherman’s village on the Ligurian Riviera. Its houses and villas are scattered all over the hills among the olive tree cultivations that cover the entire area from top to foot of the town of Chiavari. They are linked to one another both by the main winding road which passes by five small churches and by old, picturesque paths made by the local people in the old times and which are still proudly maintained. Leivi is mainly known as a DOP centre for olive oil, and is perfectly placed for explorations inland … an essential component of your holidays in Italy.
