Enjoy hospitable holiday accommodation on a beautiful, old farm between Genoa and La Spezia in Liguria, Italy. These bed-and-breakfast rooms and holiday apartments lie within easy distance of the Lunigiana and the Cinque Terre.
Mediterranean vegetation, complete calm, the scent of flowers and aromatic herbs ... this is the Liguria you will find at Giandriale. Situated in the Levante Riviera, near the Cinque Terre and Porto Venere, not far away from Sestri Levante and Portofino, and very close to the medieval villages of the beautiful Val di Vara, there's plenty to see round about, too.

Giandriale sits within a 150-acre estate, lies 700m above sea level, and is located at only 20 km from the lovely little Italian Riviera town of Sestri Levante - one of the most famous tourist resorts in the area. Completely immersed in unspoiled nature, the farm is surrounded by woods and meadows. For the past seven years this old manor house has provided hospitality and accommodation in two nicely restructured stone farm houses.
Bed and breakfast is €30 per person per day, and half board is available at €45 per person a day. Children between one and five years old receive a 50 per cent discount, and between six and 12 years a 30 per cent discount. The apartments cost €37 per person per day, with half board €52 per person per day, and the same child discounts apply. For short stays the price is €30 per person per night, breakfast included.
The dining room boasts good, genuine home-cooked food prepared with the farm's vegetables, meat and herbs. Specialities include chestnut flower gnocchi, herb ravioli, mushrooms, and cornflour cakes. All guests dine together in a cosy, warm atmosphere.
The farm is a starting point for relaxing hikes or mountain bike rides in the woods and the mountains nearby. You can follow trails that offer a spectacular view of the Tigullio Gulf or the verdant Val di Vara and its archaeological sites. Guided tours can be organised with a minimum of six participants. Or you can consult one of the numerous guides on the region available at Giandriale.

At Giandrale you will be in intimate contact with nature, watching the farm animals grazing free, and seeing numerous wild animals, including boar, foxes, squirrels and hares. All produce is raised organically, and the farm's vegetables, fruits, honey and herbs can be tasted in the restaurant.
Families with children will find Giandriale the perfect place to spend an Italian vacation; the farm is also an ideal place for school trips. You will discover wide open spaces, away from danger, where young guests can run freely in the fields, explore the neighbouring woods, and make friends with the farm animals.
At Giandriale your hosts Nereo Giani and Lucia Marelli have found the perfect marriage of eco-sensitive agritourism with modern comforts. This is a holiday to savour. To discover more click below.
