The village is in a protected area, beautifully situated amongst trees and surrounded by Mediterranean planting and flora. La Francesca is in a bay facing the sea of the Cinque Terre between Punta del Carlino and Punta Gone, and this wild and charming landscape offers a seaside holiday far from noise and crowds. In a bay of crystal-clear water, you can swim in the small coves among the rocks and, for the children, there is a special swimming pool near the sea.

The simple, brick-built houses, all with telephones and central heating, sit in private gardens. All have a terrace overlooking the sea, and all are equipped with their own kitchenettes. Bath and bed-linen are supplied and changed weekly.
La Francesca is self contained and you’ll find plenty to keep the family happy. There is an indoor gym, two tennis courts, football and volley-ball fields, bowling, mini-golf, table tennis, and a 25 metre swimming-pool among the pine trees and oleanders; this is open from June to September. There are sun-beds, a whirlpool bath and aquagym courses are available during the Summer. The centre can also organise diving courses, all under expert tuition and supervision.
The new Rosadimare restaurant sits on a cliff overhanging the sea, and is surrounded on three sides by a two-tier terrace. From here you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The restaurant has a full and varied menu, from gourmet dishes to snacks and drinks. Next door is a bar where you can relax with a drink.
There is a minimarket should you wish to cook for yourself, and private parking within the compound ensures you and your possessions are kept completely secure. There is also a private route down to the beach.
The village is also an ideal venue for conventions, receptions and wedding parties.
