Garda is a superb destination for families, lovers of watersports, or just those who want to sit in the sun and soak up some of Italy's most beautiful scenery and mildest climates. This is the largest and cleanest of the Italian lakes, and though popular with tourists from Italy and northern Europe, it is unspoiled by the number of visitors.
