

This Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Mantova, Lombardy, Italy lies just 1km from the historic centre of the city.
During the medieval Gonzaga period, this area of Corteposta was a key entry point to Mantua (or Mantova). It was the changing point for horses before riders entered the town through the gate of San Giorgio. Within minutes you can be walking through the old centre of town, or taking a stroll along the shores of the lakes that encircle the old town. This provides a spectacular view of the town skyline, especially at sunset.
The owners live in the house, with three rooms given over to bed and breakfast guests. Each has its own private bathroom, colour TV and air conditioning. Two rooms have a king size bed; in the largest a third single bed can be added. The third room has two queen size beds. Tea and coffee facilities, fridge and tourist brochures are available in the common area opposite the bedrooms.
Breakfast is from 8am to 9.30 in the dining room downstairs when the weather is cold; during the spring and summer breakfast is served in the garden. Smoking is forbidden in the rooms; guests are asked to vacate rooms by 10am.
There is safe parking inside the courtyard; free use of bikes; free shuttle service from and to the train station; pets are not allowed.
