Just 100 metres from Le Sorgive is the Cascina Le Volpi, which houses the restaurant (with seating for 80 guests) and the stables. In the large dining hall, with its veranda and panoramic view of the hills, or within the comfortable private dining room you can enjoy excellent homemade cured meats and cheeses, home-made pasta, free-range chicken, seasonal vegetables, fruits, desserts, locally produced wines and other delicacies of the house. Some organically-grown farm produce is also available for purchase. Anna will be delighted to suggest typical local dishes, mouth watering desserts and unusual herbal infusions (rose leaves, liquorice and amaro assenzio to name but a few).
Le Volpi Riding School is located inside the farm. Plenty of space, 34 stables and a qualified instructor create a pleasant environment for both rider and horse. Here colts are bred, selected and trained. There are courses in Dressage, English and Western-style riding; and day-time and night-time excursions unveil wonderful views and charming historical villages.
The swimming pool is surrounded by magnificent oak trees and lies near the restaurant. It has a solarium, and scuba-diving courses are on offer here. Cyclists can borrow mountain bikes and follow the well-signposted rural paths. There is archery for both experts and beginners, and the farm is superbly set up for families. A mix of courses, summer camps and vacations with a mixture of sport, studies and games will keep the children occupied and parents happy. And being close by Lake Garda, there is a huge diversity of water sports on offer nearby. The peninsula of Sirmione is 13 km away, and Gardaland Amusement Park 17 km.
Make your choice from a variety of apartments. With a mixture of showers, baths, rooms with telephone and TV, and apartments with kitchens, and with sizes of apartment ranging from two guests up to eight, there is something to suit everyone.
The farm is ideally placed for excursions to Lombardy and the Veneto. Brescia is 25km away, Mantua 30km, Verona 40km, Milan 110km and Venice 150km. The airport at Verona-Villafranca is just 25km away, and the exit from the A4 motorway just 15km.
