LUNIGIANA,
NORTHERN TUSCANY Tresana is a lovely hilly area in the western part of Lunigiana. As you drive around this area you are surrounded by views of the Carrara mountains in one direction and the Crinale mountain ridge in the other. It is spectacular but at the same time very convenient for the coast, all the local facilities and the motorway network. From Le Volte it is possible to be beside the sea in half an hour or less, so is very convenient for families wanting to take advantage of the sandy beaches and shallow foreshore of the Versillian Riviera or for those wanting to enjoy the rocky foreshore and spectacular views of Lerici and the Cinque Terre. |
