This agriturismo offers Italy holiday rentals in the heart of Italy’s Piedmont region. This room and apartment accommodation, Asti, Piedmont, Italy, makes an excellent base for exploring the surrounding countryside and pretty villages … the centre of production of the Asti Barbera wines.
These Italy holiday rentals comprise 7 double rooms (two with communicating door) and 3 single rooms. The main house and the accommodation is surrounded by 27 hectares of land. For those wanting exercise, there are swimming pool, table tennis, a tennis court and bicycles to borrow for no charge. With so much space there are interesting walks to take through the vineyards of the farm.
The cooking is typical of Monferrato, with good wholesome dishes prepared from the farm’s own produce. In autumn you can taste that gourmets’ dream, the white truffle. Piedmont is arguably the home of Italian food and wine. Porcini mushrooms, chestnuts and bagna caoda are on the menu, while robust reds join the whites we might associate with Italy – you can savour Nebbiolo, Barolo and Barbera. The town of Asti of course is famous for its sparkling whites, and lies within easy reach of these Italy holiday rentals.
