This Bed and breakfast in Piedmont is named 'Kaeru', a Japanese word meaning both 'frog' and 'return' - ancient legend has it that Japanese fishermen used to recieve toy frogs from their wives as talismans for a safe return - and the name has been adopted because the owners are confident that once guests have visited they are sure to come back.

Immersed in the Italian countryside, the bed and breakfast is only 13 km from Pinerolo and 45 km from Turin, the Winter Olympic city of 2006. Ideally situated for family skiing in the Italian Alps with the ski area of Rucas only fifteen minutes away by car, the area also offers interesting walking with the added bonus of mushrooming in the autumn.
