The flat is 43m² and can comfortably accommodate 2-4 people. Depending on season, weekly prices for these apartments range from EURO €362,00 to €671,00.

Casa Il Focolare consists of the entire wing of the villa, which was originally the building from which the lord of the adjacent farm collected his 'dues' in the form of olives, grapes, hay, eggs and other agricultural produce. The word capitata means ended-up, and that is exactly what happened to the hardworking farm peasants’ output — a good percentage ended up at Villa La Capitata for ‘his lordship.’
The enormous building therefore comprises vast rooms with high ceilings that were originally store rooms, many of them carved out of the hillside so that oil and wine could be stored at lower temperatures below ground level. The house has just been completely restored to its former glory; the floors are tiled in traditional terracotta, the walls are Tuscan whitewash, and the fittings and furnishings are by local artisans (some pieces are original 1800's).
A private terrace, accessed directly from the house, enjoys views over the valley, and is shaded by a vast walnut tree that permits al fresco eating even when the sun is at its very highest. The terrace is completely private and is not overlooked by any other apartment. A door and stairs lead up to the ground floor.

An enormous entrance hall with stairs to the first floor; vast fully fitted kitchen (fridge, freezer, dishwasher) with views over the terrace; dining/sitting room with one entire wall given over to the original open fireplace plus traditional wood-burning oven. This room enjoys views over the valley. On the first floor guest will find three double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (two hill views and one valley view) and a further two double bedrooms (one hill view and one valley view). Separate bathroom with shower. Two of the bedrooms can be used as twins, and two can be used as triple rooms, so Casa Il Focolare can accommodate up to 13 guests. On the second floor there is a bathroom with shower, up under the eaves. Weekly rentals for Casa Il Focolare range from €1600 - €2350.
Facilities on the estate include the swimming pool, table tennis, mountain bikes, a barbecue and a laundry; nearby activities include tennis (2km), bowling (6km) and horseriding (3 to 10km).
Communal dinners are organised during the summer — a chance to taste some typical Tuscan cuisine in a perfect setting; and harvesting takes place later in the year: the grapes in October and the olives in November. La Capitata's extra virgin olive oil and wine are both available for purchase on the estate.
