Completed in 2002, Giardino dei Bonsai is a modern, comfortable villeta or small villa for rent just outside the historical centre of Cortona.

The house offers traditional-style holiday accommodation for up to five guests in spacious, well-lit rooms. An ample living room dominates the ground floor — a striking communal space with a soaring ceiling, a fireplace, a sofa bed and an area for cooking and dining. Also on the ground floor are an elegant bathroom with shower, and a double bedroom.

A flight of wooden steps leads up through an imposing brick archway to a a second double bedroom on a mezzanine level. Like the other rooms in the house, this is a spacious, tastefully decorated area with a warmly-coloured beamed ceiling. The house has colour TV and heating, and is impeccably furnished for your holiday needs.

The area outside is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings — a table and chairs make for convenient al fresco dining and there is a swimming pool with breathtaking views over the valley to Lake Trasimeno.
