The living area on the ground floor comprises
several inter-linked, open-plan rooms, including a drawing room with open
fireplace, a billiards room, a music room with a grand piano (tuning questionable!),
the separate kitchen and a cloakroom. The kitchen is particularly well
equipped, having large hob, oven, open fire for wood/charcoal barbecues
and large fridge-freezer. An adjacent utility room houses a washing machine
and dishwasher.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms: the large master bedroom with four-poster
double bed, a second large double bedded room, a twin room and a single/cot
room. A bathroom, a shower room and a cloakroom (which opens onto a lovely
little balcony - a 'loo with a view'!), complete the accommodation. Wonderfully
tall ceilings, an interesting assemblage of antique furnishings and original
ceiling frescos in two of the bedrooms give Villa Eleonora a beguilingly
traditional feel. |
