Situated in open countryside
just 13 kilometres from Florence, Il Fienilino has been completely and
lovingly restored to make a beautiful and comfortable holiday home, here
in the heart of Tuscany. Care has been taken to use traditional materials throughout, and the house has lost none of its charm. Indeed the owner (Signora Paola) spent years scouring local antique markets around Montelupo Fiorentina collecting ancient tiles and ceramics so typical of the area. The owners stay in a seventeenth century villa at 100 metres distance from the house and Signora Paola and her family are always available for advice and assistance. |

The ground floor comprises a comfortable
living room (original exposed stone walls) with table, chairs and double
sofa bed. The living room is connected to the kitchen which, with its
open atmosphere and fireplace, represents the heart of the house. The
kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, washing machine and fridge and
leads directly onto the garden. There is also a small bathroom off the
kitchen. Should you wish a night off from cooking then there is a restaurant within walking distance at just 350 metres. |

On the first floor are two
bedrooms - one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Both rooms
have fine views over the garden and there is a bathroom with all comforts
