

A modern Tuscan villa in the town of Vicchio – Villa Valentina is a lovely, spacious house, with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a swimming pool, garage and private outdoor parking. A perfect base for a family vacation in Tuscany.
This roomy villa (385 square metres) is situated in the town of Vicchio (35km from Florence) which was the birthplace of Giotto and Beato Angelico. Lying on the road that leads to Dicomano, it's about 200 metres from Piazza Giotto (all kinds of shops and the bank). About 200 metres away is a tennis court, 16km away is a golf course, 35km the city of Florence.
The house has a private fenced-in equipped garden with swimming pool (8 x 4 metres). The road that links Vicchio to Dicomano passes at the edge of the property, some 30 metres from the house. The caretakers live in the basement floor and have an independent entrance. There is also a garage. Bicycle and car hire (with or without driver and to a maximum of 8 people) is available, as are transfers to and from the airport.


The ground floor has an entrance from the garden and from the first floor, and has a large living/dining room with kitchen corner (washing machine), fireplace, two twin-bedded rooms, two bathrooms with shower. The first floor has an entrance, living/dining room with fireplace and access onto a terrace (120 square metres). There is a dining room with fireplace (satellite TV) and access to the outside, kitchen (dishwasher) with access onto a terrace (5 square metres), two double bedrooms, a twin-bedded room, a bathroom with shower, and a bathroom with Jacuzzi bath. A baby bed (free of charge) is available. The house is centrally heated.
This location is really excellent for visiting some of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany. Villa Valentina is situated in Vicchio, Florence, where Giotto and Beato Angelico were born in the beautiful Valley of Mugello. Trips into Florence are easily arranged, car or minibus hire can be arranged in advance, with or without a driver. In Vicchio there is a train station, bus station and it's just a few kilometres from the highway.
