Although the property feels delicious rural, its location in the very centre of the triangle formed by Florence, Siena and Pisa makes it an excellent base for those keen on immersing themselves in Renaissance art and architecture. |

Closer to home, you’ll find enchanting hill towns and villages, providing a good choice of restaurants. The nearest, a pizzeria on the edge of Montaione, is just 1 km away, and the centre of this village, marked by a beautiful belvedere, is just 2km. Other good places to eat are the nearby little spa town of Gambassi Terme or, a little further afield, the larger town of Certaldo. The stunning monastery and chapels of San Vivaldo are just ten minute drive away, and the magnificent mediaeval towers of San Gimignano can also be reached in no more than half an hour. The apartments, thanks to careful restoration work, are supplied with all comforts and furnished with antique pieces of furniture. |

Every apartment has its own telephone, television set with satellite programs, gas kitchen and oven, single heating system, towels, sheets, and american coffee machine. Some apartments have an independent area for outdoor living. There is a garden with garden-furniture, table-tennis, barbecue, private
tennis, laundry, gazebo and two beautiful swimming-pools (irregular
shape, about 16 x 6 metres, open from 01 May to 30 October), all shared
with other apartments. Wine, oil and other local products can be bought
at the reception. |
