Casa Gemma - Traditional stone house rental in Tuscany - sleeps 8

Casa Gemma is located in a tiny, cosy village called Petrognano, located 500 metres above sea level on the green hills looking over Lucca.

The house is a traditional local stone and chestnut-timbered dwelling that was fully renovated in 1997 using ecologically sound materials.

The village itself dates back to Roman times, when there was a small sandstone quarry nearby - the locale is known as Cavina for this reason.
The house is south facing, with striking views of the Lucca plain, and is arranged on three floors:

GROUND FLOOR
Utilities room with washing machine, ironing stand and stone basin.

FIRST FLOOR
Kitchen with gas range, electric oven, equipped cupboard and dining table; sitting room with sofas, TV
and armchair; bathroom with shower; double bedroom.
SECOND FLOOR
Two twin bedrooms, double 'mansard' bedroom, bathroom with bath, terrace. The house is fully furnished in a traditional
style and there is car parking at 70 metres from the house. Nearby can be found picnic spots, trekking lanes, restaurants, food shops, a bar and horse riding.
