This pretty little cottage (sleeps 2) is just on the outskirts
of Vitiana, a typical, small Tuscan hillside village of about 200 people.
Just 5 kms above the
Mill,
the cottage provides upstairs a double bedroom and 'salotto' and downstairs
a well-fitted kitchen and shower bathroom.
Above the cottage, accessed via the bedroom, is a small hillside garden
(for those early evening aperitifs?) with a lovely view across the valley.
It is especially popular with Honeymooners! Antonietta, the owner, who
lives just across the road is more than ready to assist in all sorts
of ways if required - even though she speaks not a word of English.
The salotto has a sofa-bed for the occasional overnight guest. The carpark
is 30 yards away. Vitiana has 2 bars, a small food shop and a summer
