small and friendly village of Tiglio is a few minutes' walk away and
has a Post Office; the mediaeval town of Barga (10 minutes drive) has
a range of attractions including street markets, restaurants, bars,
banks and supermarkets. The historical cities of Lucca (42km), Siena
(150km) and Florence (120km) are all within easy distance as is the
beach at Viareggio (65km).
