The terrace affords guest incredible panoramic views of the area, with the splendid Apuan Alps as a permanent backdrop. It is also the perfect place for a spot of sunbathing or eating al fresco in an atmosphere where nature remains unspoilt.

Gragna is an ideal spot for trekking, mountain-biking, riding and outdoor activities of all types, but as a base it suited for local excursions to, for example, marble quarries, the mountain grottos, mountain lakes, fortresses and innumerable hilltop villages. At just 500 metres from Casa Pellini is the small village of Pontecchio where you can do your shopping at the villages store and pick up your freshly (wood-oven) baked bread. There is also a restaurant where you may sample traditional local dishes at very good prices, and it is also possible to rent mountain bikes in the village.
