Casa Torre is set in a tiny village in the wild,
unspoilt hills of the Apuan Natural Park in the Garfagnana. There
are splendid views
on all sides, with the vibrant colours of the village and the
green, wooded hills, speckled with mediaeval villages, chestnut
woods, vineyards and olive groves. The village has steep, cobbled streets and is
traffic-free (ideal for children) and peaceful, with a shop and
a pizzeria-restaurant. Nearby Gallicano (5km) has a bank, pharmacy,
large supermarket and petrol station.
