The apartments are in perfect condition, with sections of original
brickwork and re-exposed beamed ceilings which date back to the middle
ages. Refurbished specifically as holiday flats, they are bright and
comfortable, fully equipped and furnished, offering holiday accommodation
for 2 to 3 guests. |

Both flats are well lit and stylish, striking a balance
between the rich terracotta reds and chestnut browns of the original
structure, and the bright primary colours of the furniture and fittings.
Apartment Giallo, with its large terrace, is slightly larger than Azzurro, and both consist of a spacious living-room (with sofa-bed), bedroom, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. Giallo has a bedroom with two twin beds, Azzurro has a double bedroom. |

| Both apartments have excellent views of the church of
San Frediano, an ancient, beautifully-decorated church which served
as Lucca's cathedral until the 11th century. Less than a minute from
the front door lies the famous Via Fillungo - Lucca's most prestigious
shopping street - and near at hand is the famous Roman amphitheatre.
Lucca is more like a thriving, lively town than a city, unspoiled and friendly, with an active cultural calendar and excellent bars and restaurants. If you want history or art you won't be disappointed - from the spectacular mediaeval fortifications to the numerous museums, churches and galleries, there really is something for everyone... Parking is easy: free parking is just a few minutes’ walk. If you want to get more from your visit, guided tours of the city, tastings of local specialities, and trips to local wineries and olive estates are available by arrangement — please confirm prices and details on booking. Minimum stay four nights. |
