Barga is one of the two most sought after little "cittadini" in Tuscany - San Gimignano gets better press, but Barga is nicer. In this pretty little town situated in the middle of the Garfagnana, "Mattins" is a two-bedroom apartment on the upper floor of a two-storey house, just below the Duomo.

It comprises a large entrance hall, large sitting room with dining area, a smallish fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one twin, one double) and a shower bathroom.

Furnished to a good standard, it provides excellent accommodation for up to 4 persons, within the Cittadino proper.

Parking within the walls of Barga one has to say is at a bit of a premium but one can park within 100 yards of the house, which itself is on a staired road. Jolly nice! The price for this property is Euro €750 per week, all year round.
