Villa Lucchese offers holiday rental accommodation in one wing of a splendid villa in Monte San Quirico, just outside Lucca, Tuscany — the owners live in the other wing. The villa lies on a hillside and is surrounded by well-kept gardens with a pine wood providing a border on one side. This is a lovely property, elegantly furnished and decorated, with well-lit spacious rooms.
The vacation accommodation is all on the ground floor with a kitchen/dining room, a living room and three bedrooms: one double (with en suite bathroom/WC), one twin and one single; a second bathroom/WC. There is a washing machine and a cot.
A second small apartment suitable for one or two guests is available year
round, bookable on a nightly or weekly basis. It has an independent entrance
and heating and consists of a twin bedroom, bathroom, living room with TV
and a kitchen with fridge stocked for breakfast. The rental price includes
heating, linen and weekly cleaning.
This is an excellent base for a holiday exploring Tuscany — handy for the seaside resorts of Versilia (20km) and just outside the small city of Lucca. Lucca is a gem of a city, its ancient centre a maze of winding, paved streets enclosed by a complete set of Renaissance walls.

There are numerous museums, churches and palaces to visit; regular fairs, markets and exhibitions; and an active calendar of concerts, conferences and pageants.
Lucca has a nearby motorway link and regular rail and bus services which provide easy access to Florence, Pisa, the mountains of the Garfagnana or the beaches of the Mediterranean. Central Italy is really on your doorstep!
