
Less than a kilometre from the spectacular, towered town of San Gimignano, Poggio Barbiano — Barbiano Hill — has a commanding view of the town and surrounding hills. Once admired for its stategic and defensive qualities, it now envied for its wonderful panoramic views.
Casale Gregoriano sits on top of the hill - a stylish, late-seventeenth century villa built around a sturdy fourteenth century watch tower. The villa has been divided into several rental apartments and rooms, each carefully renovated and tastefully furnished. The accommodation is breathtakingly beautiful, many of the rooms with vaulted ceilings, others with exposed beams.

There are five apartments, each furnished by local craftsmen in traditional materials like chestnut, travertine marble, iron and brass, and consisting of a kitchen/dining room, living room and one or more bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The apartments share a furnished garden with excellent views of San Gimignano and its famous towers.
The apartments have heating, colour television and a telephone and there
is private parking. A cleaning service is available on request. It is also
possible to hire mountain bikes to explore the area.
There is also available 4 double rooms, all with air conditioning. Guests
have free access to a local swimming pool.
For the double room the prices range from €85 to €105 per room.
The apartment costs from €490 to €690 (2 guests), €590 to €790
(4 guests). The breakfast is included in the price.
For short stays the price is EURO €65 per day.
