The yellow apartment is on the upper
floor of the farm. A delightful staircase overlooking the small cloisters
inside the building leads up to it. The wood-fuelled oven near the entrance
shows that the farmers once made their bread here. Your mind already
begins to drift back into the past… a pleasant feeling of warmth envelops
you as you open the door… the walls painted in a summery shade of yellow
give the whole apartment a sunny, familiar and very welcoming feel.
The walls of the entrance are decorated with typical Tuscan produce: ears of wheat, dried cobs of corn and wild flowers will keep you company during your stay. |

The apartment is scrupulously clean
and you will notice the pleasant smell that fills the air as soon as
you enter the house: the loving care administered by the owners which
enables the maintenance of such a delicate and precious environment,
requiring constant attention with regard to hygiene, is often the only
ingredient capable of preventing the deterioration of the numerous tools
hanging on the walls, bearing witness to past times and lives lived
with sacrifice but also with immense passion.
The kitchen is extremely bright, thanks to its three panoramic windows, and is the perfect place in which to relax and taste typical Tuscan produce the sofa and curtains reflect the colours and patterns so loved by our grandmothers and accompany antique, well-restored furnishings perfectly: the beauty of the furnishings is enhanced by the functionality of the electrical appliances in the cooking area, which is divided from the rest of the living room by a refined yellow drape, supported by a cleverly braided rope, which gives the more "technical" part of the apartment a rustic air which is always paramount. The same functionality is provided by the bathroom, which is spacious and equipped with a shower. |

The night area brings the tour of
our "sunflower field" to a close: a bedroom right out of a
thousand and one nights and not only because it too is in the unmistakably
rustic style of the rest of the house, but because it is in a position,
like the rest of the farm, which is extremely peaceful. The thick walls
that characterise all the old buildings in the area make it possible
to block noise from outside and to keep out both heat and cold: the
temperature remains virtually constant all day long, which is particularly
pleasant on hot, sticky summer days
you can sleep peacefully in
any season at any time.
