Villa Faule is a wonderful place for a peaceful country holiday, wrapped in greenery with all of the rooms giving marvellous views of the rolling Siena countryside. Here you can enjoy long, gentle walks or simply relax with a book in the garden.
The villa is a striking building of arches and balconies, decorated in typical Sienese style with local materials. The rooms are airy and welcoming and are fully furnished for your holiday needs. Furniture and linen are of excellent quality — a finishing touch to the atmosphere of rustic luxury.
The apartment at Villa Faule is available by the week (Euro €700) and is suitable for four guests, consisting of two bedrooms, a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom. Rooms are also available on a nightly basis for €60 (double room with en suite bathroom) and €50 (double room with shared bathroom.)
If you want to see more of Tuscany, you couldn't really ask for a more central base. Transport links are excellent, with an efficient rail service and motorway links providing fast access to Florence, to the coast, and eastwards to Arezzo and Umbria.
Siena/Sienna, which is only six kilometres to the south, is a wonderful city
to explore on foot. As you would expect from one of the cradles of the Renaissance,
there some excellent museums and gallerys, but Siena is also notable for its
high quality restaurants and a lively calendar of pageants, markets and festivals.

Italy's most famous vineyards — those of Chianti — lie to the north, and the outstanding wine villages of Montepulciano and Montalcino are a short drive to the south. Gourmets and wine-lovers can both spend several diverting weeks visiting winerys and sampling the local cuisine.
