Located 5 klms from the picturesque village
of Fivizzano in the Lunigiana,
the stone built house is set in a large terraced garden, well established
with vines, mature fruit trees (fig, plum, pear, apricot and cherry) and
woodland down the mountainside. There is plenty of space to erect a swimming
pool.
The surrounding countryside is very wild and green, with the Apuan mountains
in the backround. Good fishing and excellent hiking. There is a small
ski resort just 15 minutes further up the mountain for winter recreation
and the beach at Lerici and the spectacular Cinque
Terre are approximately one hour away. The nearest international airport
is Pisa, which is about 75 minutes drive from the house. |
