The Porto sa Ruxi Residence lies around 4km from Villasimius and an hour by car from Cagliari-Elmas Airport and the Port of Cagliari. The residence is beautifully equipped, with a swimming pool and tennis courts. The beach is easy to reach on foot, down a few steps.

The setting for this B and B in Sardinia, Italy is quite lovely. It lies within the Capo Carbonara National Park. You will be bewitched by the immense rockscape that towers above on one side, and by the almost impossibly azure sea that stretches away on the other. And as the coastline goes on, you will discover a succession of beaches and promontories, with incredibly white, fine sands, and a backdrop of perfumed Mediterranean shrubs.
Go further afield and you’ll find that Sicily has enough to fill a dozen holidays. There is Mount Etna, one of Europe’s remaining active (though dormant) volcanoes. The dramatic ascent of this blackened lunar landscape, the smoking crater above you, will stay in the memory forever. There are the many reminders of Sicily’s ancient Classical tradition, with the Teatro Greco in Siracusa, and the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina.
